Camp detailS

The C2 Elite Training Program (ETP) is geared towards athletes that are striving to make a transition into the next level.

MITES, SQUIRTS and PEEWEES (FORWARDS, DEFENSEMEN AND GOALIE TRAINING)
For the younger age groups, the ETP Camp will be focusing on creating a sound fundamental base to help kids achieve their hockey goals. Players will be taught perfect technique in different aspects of the game, such as Skating, Stickwork, and permitted Body Contact. These skill sets are not only to enhance the players ability, but to embrace a new found confidence in their game.
Once players' techniques have been honed in, their new found skills will be used in application, by allowing kids to participate in fun, age appropriate small area games. In these game-situation scenarios, athletes can learn by trial and error how to use their skills to enhance their gameplay. By the end of camp, we hope to have taught your athlete the proper skills, and their applications, so they can be utilized immediately in achieving their goals. We will also focus on specific positional skills as a forward, defensemen and goaltending.
GOALTENDING TRAINING:

BANTAMS, MIDGETS, JUNIORS & COLLEGIATE LEVEL
Phase 1:(WEEK 1 - WEEK 3) In the opening month of camp, players will work on the skills needed to excel in the later months of camp, and be ready for preseason conditioning and tryouts. This phase will focus on skating technique, stickwork technique, conditioning, and awareness. Goaltenders will have position specific coaches and drills to help advance their game as well. This term will be held in a station based format with coaches working within the same skill sets to provide familiarization and customized progression. There will be a few days that will be offense and defense specific to help provide more position based skill reps.
Phase 2:(WEEK 4 - WEEK 6) In this phase, we  will transition into practices built around the skill sets gained and improved upon in phase one, and apply them in more practical drills, such as flow and situational drills, as well as small area games with targeted emphasis’. These concepts taught are crucial to advancing the players awareness and ability conducive to making the athlete’s desired teams.
