2010 -  Head Coach -Anthony DeMaria

Coach Anthony DeMaria grew up in the area playing for the Oak Park Eagles, Naperville Sabres, Naperville Central High school then attending and playing for Purdue University. He has coached for the Naperville Central high school hockey team, as well as the Chicago Hawks and the Cyclones. His favorite NHL team are the Blackhawks, and his favorite player is Jeremy Roenick. A hobby of his besides hockey is playing golf. Coach DeMaria will be coaching the U8's this Spring!

The funniest memory he has from coaching was watching his Mite travel prep team celebrate a cross ice game win like it was the Stanley Cup.

2009 -  Head Coach Christian Esposito 

Coach Christian Esposito grew up playing hockey with the Cyclones. Christian played for his high school, St. Charles North, and when he graduated he attended and played NCAA Division III at St. Mary's University in Minnesota. While he was there he was selected to attend the NCHL All Stars All American Showcase. Coach Christian has coached several Cyclones teams at many different age levels, as well as the Northern Illinois University ACHA Division II college hockey team. Coach Christian's favorite player is Joe Sakic, and he is a big Chicago Blackhawks fan. Coach Christian will be coaching the Squirts this Spring Season!

2007 - Head CoachCraig McDonald

Craig MacDonald grew up in Villa Park playing youth hockey for the Flames and Huskies before moving back to Buffalo, NY in 8th grade.  While there he was an integral member of the national champion Midget AAA Buffalo Saints (1992), ISAA Champion Nichols High School (1994 & 1993) and the gold medal winning Team Western New York (1994). He also captained Team Western New York in the Chicago Showcase and earned the Most Valuable Forward honor (1994).

Craig graduated from Lake Forest College with a major in Economics (1998) where he played his first two years for the NCAA Div III hockey team, earning honors as an All-American Scholar in 1996 and a member of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association All-Academic Squad in 1995. 

Craig spent 12 years working for Kimberly-Clark and Harland Clarke in the area of Finance and Sales.  However, his passion led him to leave corporate America behind and pursue working full time in hockey.  His career in hockey has been most influenced by USA Hockey, during the early implementation of the American Development Model (ADM), and his work with Washington Capitals Goalie Coach Mitch Korn.  As a Hockey Director, he has successfully grown hockey in two non-traditional hockey markets (Evansville, Indiana and Nashville, Tennessee). In addition, he has helped two PeeWee teams from Evansville win the end of the year Buckeye League Championship.


2006 & 2005 - Head Coach Jack Wood


Coach Jack Wood grew up playing for the Sabres, then went on to attend and play for Lindenwood University ACHA Division III team. Upon graduating college Coach Wood began coaching for Robert Morris University Women's ACHA team, as well as the Sabres U19 and U15 teams. He began coaching for the Aurora University Men's ACHA Division III team in 2015, taking them to Nationals in 2016. Coach Wood's favorite player is Alex Pietrangelo, and his favorite team are the Chicago Blackhawks. Coach Wood will be coaching the U14's this Spring Season!
